The collar / atarah contains a quote from Sarah’s Bat Mitzvah reading:  “And I will dwell therein [the Sanctuary] among the children of Israel.” (1 Kings 6:13).

The four colours Sarah chose are her symbols for both the matriarchs and the seasons.
