"Sounds of Shofar" Prayer Shawl
Wool, cotton, metallic fibres
8-harness Summer and Winter weave
112 x 210 cm. (44" x 83"), plus fringe
The shofar and its sounds surround the wearer, who requested this imagery as the most moving time of the religious year for him.
The shofar shape points to a large block, representing the single blast of tekiaah. The three smaller blocks are shevarim, and nine staccato squares up the side are teruah.
