First Narayever is a thriving, egalitarian, traditional congregation in an historic downtown synagogue. These mantles reflect the eclectic assortment of people, scrolls and ritual objects that have come together here.

Each of the donors was invited to choose from the fabrics and menorah designs I offered them. They chose well.
