Psalm 92 Torah Mantles

These mantles develop imagery from Psalm 92, "The Righteous shall flourish like palms ..." They are oriented in the ark so that the text reads in Hebrew across the centre three fabric breastplates, which are flanked on the ends by the scales of justice.

The lower portion of each mantle shows a different plant mentioned in the psalm. The rich colours are a response to the sanctuary’s vibrant windows.
